Cory and Maxwell became fast friends back in middle school, bonding over their love of sports and grabbing lunch together. Ten years later, you'd find them hopping around networking events across New York City. The majority of the ones they attended, though, felt dull: surface-level conversations with the same types of people. After each event they asked themselves the same question, "Why can't networking events be fun?" And just like that, Strive Networking was born.
Launched in November 2023, Strive was designed for the curious and driven. No matter the stage of their career, attendees from all industries come together at Strive's multi-vertical events, sparking unexpected synergies, inspiring conversations, and lasting connections. What began in New York City is now spreading across the globe, and it's just getting started.
Born and raised in New York City, Cory began his career in commercial real estate, where he quickly discovered his passion for connecting with people from all walks of life. Today he is driven by a genuine interest in creating meaningful, lasting relationships.
Also a native New Yorker, Maxwell started his professional journey in finance and is now pursuing a career in law. Networking was instrumental in opening doors early on, and he continues to value and invest in building strong connections across many industries.

We host in multiple cities approximately every 6–12 weeks, always on Wednesdays, 6–8 PM, in central, easy-to-reach venues. We aim for a minimum of 15–20 attendees per event to keep the room vibrant. If a date isn't shaping up to meet that bar, we reschedule rather than compromise the experience.
We've hosted over 28,000 attendees since our founding. Every event is stocked with what you need to make a real connection: a comfortable space, name tags, a friendly host, and a room full of people worth meeting. Bring business cards and a good vibe. We'll handle the rest.
